Who owns JICRIT?
JICRIT is a limited company jointly owned by the IPA representing Media Buyers and Radiocentre representing Sales Points and Stations. It has a board of directors made up from founder members of the J-ET system. ISBA (representing advertisers) has a seat on the board which guarantees complete transparency and openness in the running and direction of the system.
Who owns J-ET?
The J-ET system is wholly owned by JICRIT (Joint Industry Commercial Radio IT) and is hosted on JICRIT owned servers / ISP.
Does JICRIT run the J-ET system in house?
No. JICRIT appoints a partner to run the system and provide helpdesk support. The contract is run by Mediatel who also helped the industry create the system from scratch back in 1998.
Does J-ET just support London based Agencies and sales points?
No, not at all! J-ET has customers in several key radio trading areas outside of London including Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Nottingham, Leeds and Carlisle. A full list of subscribers can be found here.
